Our Services

Our service to the poor and the needy covers several areas of human conditions. The unnoticed and the uncared persons were selected to receive our help. Presently our activities have been limited to the entire jurisdiction of Thrissur district. Those who have received the aid/ service range from people of rural areas, tribal in forests, inmates in mental asylum, Juvenile homes , jail, hospitals, kidney patients. Cancer patients, etc. We are doing something for very deserving persons giving valuable medicines, extending educational helps for poor and bright students, doing renovation works to huts of poor people, supply of food items among tribal, services in different health centers, etc.

The list of services rendered in short span

• The cancer patient Lissy, w/o Akkara Vincent and their mentally retarded daughter Rinsy were given help by the donation given by A.A.Sinudheen

• Treatment and medicine was given to Finu Jose from Velappaya who caught an unidentified disease for the toes and hands

• Help for the treatment and reconstruction of the house was given to Biju from Thayyoor who was suffering after an operation in the stomach.

• Scheduled Tribes from “Ancham Colony, Chungam Colony and the Tribal School colony of Parambikulam were given rice, clothes and other food materials

• The Ezharakkoottam celebrated Onam with the inmates of corporation orphanage along with the Arch Diocese health care society.

• Gave financial help to the needed people from different areas. The programme was named ‘Sandvanam’ and was conducted at the Thrissur indoor stadium.

• The Ezharakkoottam celebrated the first anniversary in the remote forest tribal village of ‘Anapandham’. The district collector distributed the medicine, clothes and food articles for about Rs.1,00,000/-

• Plastic sheets and cleaning instruments were give to the inmates of Thrissur mental hospital

• In the programme ‘Karunyam- Sevana Sangamam’ conducted at Thrissur Sahithya Academy Hall, The corporation mayor, MLAs, DGM of CSB participated and an amount of Rs.25000/- was given as help

• Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated in the prison

• Ladies wing of Ezharakkoottam was inaugurated in Thrissur Indore Stadium and an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- was distributed for the needy.

• In the leadership of Ladies wing, medical camp and seminar were conducted in Juvanile Home. Financial help was given to buy an inverter

• Rice, food articles and clothes were distributed in Ambalapara, Anakkayam colonies of Sholayar

• Rice, clothes, medicine and financial help was given to the needy of Thekkumkara Panchayat in Vadakkanchery.

• For the Kidney dialysis of the poor, the programme ‘Deena Bandhu’ was started in Jubilee Mission Hospital.

• Rice, food materials, clothes and medicines were given to the poor of Chelakkara

• Technical education was provided to deserving tribal and poor of Thrissur district in co-operation with Victory ITC.

• The Ezharakkottam members visited the Tsunami hit area of the Thrissur District and conducted a medical camp. Also distributed the food articles to the victims.
